In this piece, I've gotten used to using the grids, and I'm glad to have been able to draw out the sweetness in her smile. Only, the eyes lack a glint of light that picture has. I should have softened the lighting and shadows a little more as well as the one I did looks a little dark on the shadows. I purposely enhanced the highlights on her hair so as to bring out its silkiness and I also made her blouse a slightly lighter colour to create contrast between the blouse and her jet black hair.
I really do like this piece even though I know I still have room for improvement.
